Our primary outdoor ceremony space is a wide grass field framed by 100-year-old oaks. Wooden chairs face a hand-built white pergola, with the sun setting directly behind it from late April through October.
No reception happening on the lawn next door. No power lines in your photos. Just trees, sky, and the people who matter most.
The Reception

Our reception area sits beneath strung Edison bulbs and the open Missouri sky. Long farmhouse tables. A built-in dance floor. A bar tucked under cedar timbers. As night falls, the property's bonfire becomes the second act — and almost always the part everyone remembers.

For couples who want an outdoor ceremony plus on-site lodging, Humble Village at Starlight Trail in Kirksville is one of Missouri's most distinctive outdoor wedding venues. 13 wooded acres, an oak-framed ceremony field, string-lit reception space, and cabins for the wedding party.
We build a rain plan into every wedding contract. Covered reception space and pavilion tents are available on-property. Our coordinator monitors weather all week and works with you on a clear go/no-go call by the Friday rehearsal.
Late April through mid-June, and mid-September through late October. These windows offer mild temperatures, low humidity, and long golden-hour light. Summer weddings work well with later ceremony times (6–7pm) to avoid midday heat.
Our outdoor ceremony field comfortably seats 200 guests. Reception spaces handle 200 seated or 250 standing. Smaller intimate ceremonies are welcome.
Yes. White wooden ceremony chairs and farmhouse-style reception tables are included in every weekend package. We coordinate setup and breakdown so you don't lift a thing.
